Who we are

Debt & Daylight is a planning tool for paying off debt, operated by Frauntaine Delafield Eck. Our website is debtanddaylight.com, and this planner is the paid dashboard connected to it. You can reach us at support@debtanddaylight.com.

What the service is — and is not

Debt & Daylight helps you build a month-by-month payoff plan using your income, bills, debts and interest rates. Everything the planner shows is an estimate produced by simplified math from the numbers you enter.

Debt & Daylight is not a lender, creditor, debt collector, credit-repair service, or debt-settlement company. It does not negotiate with creditors, make payments for you, or offer credit or loans. Nothing in the planner is financial, credit, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions, and you should confirm balances, rates and payoff figures with your issuer or lender before acting.

Your account

To save a plan, you create an account with your email address and a password, or through Google sign-in. You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your password private, and tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.

The numbers you enter stay connected to your account. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle them.

Membership and billing

The free calculator at debtanddaylight.com is free and needs no account. This planner is the full saved dashboard, a paid membership: $9.99 per month or $79 per year. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime through the "Manage billing" button on the Membership page. When you cancel, your access continues through the period you already paid for, and it does not renew.

We may change prices in the future. If we do, we will notify you before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then to avoid the new price.

Refunds

Our refund policy is simple: every payment carries a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Acceptable use

You may use the planner for your own personal financial planning. You may not resell it, copy it, scrape it, try to break it, use it to break the law, or use it on behalf of clients as an advisory product without written permission from us. If you are a coach or advisor and want to use it with clients, contact us — we offer options for that.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Debt & Daylight is provided "as is," and we are not liable for losses or damages connected to decisions you make using the planner's estimates, including interest costs, credit effects, or missed payments. The planner does not connect to your bank or card accounts and cannot see your real statements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and continued use of the planner after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
