The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run the planner: your account details, the plan numbers you type in, and basic billing status. We never sell your data, and we never see your bank or card credentials — the planner does not connect to your accounts.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
Plan information. The numbers you enter to build a plan: income, paycheck timing, extra income, fixed bills, living expenses, debts, balances, rates, minimums, credit limits, cash cushion, and any progress updates you record. This is what makes your saved plan work.
Billing information. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive your subscription status (active, canceled, period end) and an ID for your subscription so we can unlock the dashboard. We never receive or store your full card number.
Basic service data. Standard security logs needed to run and protect the service.
Why we use it
To save and show your plan, keep your account secure, unlock your membership when you pay, send service emails (such as sign-in confirmation), and support you when you contact us.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that make the service work: our hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, and our payment provider. Each processes data only to deliver the service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Your choices
Your plan is visible only to you when signed in. You can edit or delete your plan numbers at any time from the dashboard. To delete your account and its data, email support@debtanddaylight.com from your account's email address and we will remove it.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with our hosting provider's security controls. No service can promise perfect security, but we take protecting your numbers seriously.
Children
The planner is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and post the new version here.
